Let's talk about Artificial intelligence, Artificial GENERAL intelligence or what we're scared of:
Super Intelligence.
Everyone has an opinion on these topics: My Indian uncle, the random instagram course dude, the influencer developers, teachers etc.
Naturally; i have one as well (like duh this is a blog wdym i wont yap.)
Okay, setting the tone: What are we actually scared of?
We aren't scared of being replaced, we just think we are. C'mon, there's like 8 BILLION people in the world, if Ai got stupid smart and would be replacing us all, 8 Billion of us would have some sort of a revolutionary thing we could do: stop it.
We're scared of being partly replaced; Our jobs, Sources of income, the ability to think for ourselves (Yes this is real, more on it later.) And more.
AI (For now, as of September 2026, (Opus 5.5/GPT 6 Astra generation)) is good at writing your over-complex, weirdly tokenized general code, that an average developer who knows everything would write. It doesn't write the "GOOOD" code, that experts in their field do.
It never knows how to optimize, how to do actual things, sure it can make your random slop idea work (Yes go build another habit tracker you retard. Opus 5.5 go brrr)
But if you say: Well why would i learn to code or learn to think or do complex mathematics if ai can do it for me.
Think about it: When cars were invented and replaced horses and other means, People went FURTHER, they didn't stop going. Same analogy, just a different aspect. Ai will take humans further, even in the wrong. Cars came, improved our lives, but also became a disaster if two crashed together.
Ai in the wrong aspects, hands or both still introduces these new "Disasters".
The fear of being replaced is still there and frankly nothing would fix that, even if you could predict shit.
And another thing: Knowledge has always been in the hands of the previliged, This won't change. (In my eyes it won't, Social classes and monetory aspects prevent that.)
Now then, what i am scared about, even for myself.-
Losing the ability to think.
these days when i use gemini to search for a solution, find me xyz, help me build think on new approaches to a DSP engine, i find myself sometimes (Metacognitively thinking) conflicted, what if i'm getting dumber??
And i've noticed a gradual decline in my ability to spontaneously think, like i used to before. and that's very real risk of AI, you're outsourcing the very ability to think and be "Intelligent".
trading your intelligence and handing it off to a LLM is scary and must be closely monitored and clearly worked with.
Where are we headed:
well i could say we're heading towards doomsday (Not the movie stupid.) or a paradise, Or the world Wall-E showed. IDK, go build a time travel machine and find out
Let's watch and wait (Yes that's reversed for a reason ;)
